The pride and joy of Tessitura Attilio Imperiali is the fabric “Satin article 1004”, which the company has been making and selling on the Italian and international market for over 50 years. For the protection of the company and its customers, “RASO IMPERIALI” has been a registered trademark since 2008.
Conceived specifically for the world of leather goods and footwear, thanks to the choice of finishes that it can undergo (bonding, anti-fraying, water-repellence, etc.), Raso Imperiali is chosen also in other sectors such as, for example, furnishing and accessories, becoming one of the best and earning the appreciation of the world market.

High quality standards, Italian manufacture, strict and precise quality control, about 150 colour shades always available in stock and a wide range of available processes and backings, make Raso Imperiali an essential product in the collections of the world’s most important fashion houses.

Raso Imperiali is yarn dyed and is characterised by a refined and discreet sheen and a silky texture. The satin is full-bodied, but at the same time it has a soft texture, the result of the long experience of Tessitura Attilio Imperiali and of the innovation that has been brought by generation after generation during the 100 years of the company lifetime: a high-quality product, that looks and feels good, but at the same time is very resistant.

Marked on the selvedge of the fabric, as an exclusive feature, is the Italian flag to indicate the origin of the product. Like all the other fabrics manufactured by Tessitura Attilio Imperiali, it is PFC-free and is made in compliance with the Greenpeace Detox protocol, the objective of which is to eliminate from the production supply chain all substances that are harmful for the environment and for man.

The respect for the territory in which Tessitura Attilio Imperiali is located and the important environmental awareness led the management to establish the production supply chain of “Raso imperiali” at almost 0 KM, identifying and involving suppliers who operate in the Como area.

Raso Imperiali can be used alone or as a base for various processes such as gouffré, laminated, anti-fray, embossed, laser-printed, embroidered and printed, entrusted directly to the firm or outsourced, and supplied to the customer on backings such as cloth, jersey, gauze and microfibre.
